Do you have a daily quiet time with God? Is He on your daily planner? Do you have a 'prayer closet' set aside for those quiet times with Him?

If you are lacking in this area, won't you please take some time now to pray over this?

What is the best time to set aside for God?

Where will you meet with Him?

Laughter IS the Best Medicine

When you fill out your daily journal on this 60 Day challenge, you will ask yourself daily if you remembered to laugh. Laughter is truly the best medicine and most of us don't do enough of it!

Here's what you get when you laugh...

1. an increase in endorphins, your body's natural painkiller
2. a decrease in epinephrine, your body's stress hormone
3. stimulation of the body's immune system
4. cardiovascular exercise
5. enhanced alertness and memory
6. mood elevation

And, laughter burns calories! A Vanderbilt University study showed that you could lose up to 4 pounds in a year with 15 minutes of laughter a day. What a fun way to lose weight!

So, be sure to plan a laugh a day!

Stress Management

Just as laughter can help you keep you healthy and help you lose weight, stress can kill you. More and more studies are confirming that chronic, unmanaged, negative stress kills. And it's a slooow, painful death.

Uncontrolled stress leads to:

1. weight gain
2. food cravings
3. mood swings
4. fatigue
5. hyperglycemia
6. increased abdominal fat- the killer fat!
7. emotional eating
8. heart disease
9. depression

Researchers are discovering daily how damaging stress can be.

So, for success on the Hallelujah Diet and during this 60 day challenge, plan ways to manage your stress. And make it a life-long habit!

Our body is simply amazing! Our great and loving God, in His infinite knowledge and wisdom, created our bodies to defend itself and to heal itself.

Our body is also the temple of the living God. It is up to us to honor God by keeping His temple holy.

“What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (I Corinthians 6:19-20)

Plan to feed your mind daily with knowledge about your amazing body.
